How do I remove Mic Pods from Sync?
If a mic pod has been permanently removed from your room hardware, you may want to remove it from Sync to avoid persistent false errors. To accomplish this, we will need Sync to “forget” the Mic Pod. Forgetting the Mic Pod removes it from the room in Sync and clears any related error notifications.
Note: If a Mic Pod is actively connected to your host system (Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, Rally System), you can not remove the Mic Pod from Sync. You must first physically disconnect it from the system.
Sync Portal
To forget a Mic Pod from within your Sync Portal:
Select the Room you wish to remove the Mic Pod from.
Select your host device (Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, or Rally System).
You will see the missing Mic Pod listed with the host device.
Click the "Let's Fix It" notification near the top-right of the screen.
If you do not see this notification, simply check under the associated host device for the missing Mic Pod.
Select "Forget."
Sync Desktop app
To forget a Mic Pod from within your Sync Desktop app:
Open the Sync app on your host room's computer.
Select the host device listed on the left-hand side (Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, or Rally System).
You will see the missing Mic Pod listed with the host device.
Click the "Let's Fix It" notification near the top-right of the screen.
If you do not see this notification, simply check under the associated host device for the missing Mic Pod.
Select "Forget."
