Room Connection Overview

The recommended placement for Transmitter (TX) box is under the meeting room table, and the Receiver (RX) box near or behind the display. 

In preparation for installing Extend, determine where TX and RX boxes will be located.

• RX Box is typically installed near the display to connect to display and camera

  • The power for both TX and RX are supplied at the RX box using the included power cable

• TX Box is typically located near the end users under the table

  • The cable can pass through the included grommet adapter (requires 1” hole), or pass through an existing cable management system in the table

Cable Standards

Measure the total length of cable run from TX box to RX box, ensuring that the distance traveled down from table, across/under floor, and up to display are all considered. Use the table below to confirm that the customer-supplied category cable type and distance spanned are compatible.
