(Coming Soon!) Firmware Updates Extend’s firmware can be updated automatically via CollabOS updates with Logitech Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, and Rally Bar Huddle. Additionally, it can be updated manually using a Windows laptop.
Sync Portal Update - Only for network-connected Logitech video bars
At initial installation, the provided cable connects the RX box Micro-USB port to the USB-A port on Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or Rally Bar Huddle. This connection enables Extend firmware updates to be delivered via CollabOS.
Note: MeetUp 2 does not support remote management of Logitech Exend using Logitech Sync.
Use the Sync portal to view connectivity status and deploy updates, as part of Rally Bar family CollabOS updates.
Alternatively, firmware can be updated via Teams Admin Center or Zoom Device Management.
(Available now, but new devices don't require and update) Manual Update - For USB mode setups
Option One: At initial installation, the provided cable can connect the RX box Micro-USB port to the adjacent USB-A port also on the RX box. This enables firmware updates to be conducted from the End User Cable at the table top.
Option Two: Alternatively, the Micro-USB can be plugged into the RX box, leaving the USB-A side available for plug-in at the display side in the future.
To perform the update:
First ensure the Windows laptop is running the current version of Sync application.
Connect the Windows laptop either at the table with End User cable, or directly at the RX box by display, depending on how it was initially installed.
Open the Sync application
Select Extend on the left Menu
If light blue bar indicates an update is available, select Update
