Headset Setup

This article will guide you through a few simple steps in order to set up your H series headset, depending on the model you have (H570e, H650e, H820e).

For the Wireless Headset H820e:

  1. Dock the headset onto the base.

  2. Connect the base to your computer using the USB cable that’s included.

  3. Connect the base to the power adapter.

The headset will install automatically — you don't need additional drivers (note that it may take a few seconds for the audio to be recognized in the system).

Once your headset is properly connected, you'll need to configure the audio settings in both your operating system settings and the video collaboration software you’ll be using. Be sure to select the Wireless Headset H820e as the audio input and output device in both places.

For the mono version, you can wear the microphone on either side, the microphone will rotate to accommodate your preference.

For the H650e headset:

  1. Connect the headset to a USB port on your computer. The headset firmware installs automatically, you don't need any additional software (note that it may take a few seconds for the audio to be recognized in the system).

  2. Make sure you've set the H650e headset as the default input and output device in both the operating system settings and the video collaboration software you’ll be using. Be sure to select the Wireless Headset H650e as the audio input and output device in both places.

  3. For the mono version, you can wear the microphone on either side, the microphone will rotate to accommodate your preference.

For the H570e headset:

  1. Connect the headset to a USB port on your computer. The headset installs automatically — you don't need any additional software (note that it may take a few seconds for the audio to be recognized in the system).
