CollabOS devices running Google Meet on Android may show black screen due to recent Meet app update

Products Affected: Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, Rally Bar Huddle

Conditions:  Following a recent automatic Google Meet app update rolled out by Google around December 5, 2025, certain devices may fail to load and show a black screen or cycle through the app update screen. Additionally, if these affected devices are rebooted, they may enter a boot loop state.

Workaround:

• Reboot the device to recover from the black screen state.

• If the device is stuck in a boot loop, a factory reset is required to restore functionality.
