RightSight 2 Auto-framing does not work on Google Meet on ChromeOS CollabOS devices when using Manufacturer Framing and Group View

Products Affected: Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, Rally Bar Huddle

Conditions:

• When Group View with ‘Dynamic’ framing is selected in Logi Settings and ‘Manufacturer Framing’ is enabled in the Google Admin Console, the camera remains static and does not perform dynamic framing. This issue affects Logitech devices connected to ChromeOS-based room computers.

Workaround:

• No full workaround is currently available. As alternatives, customers may:

  • Select Group View with ‘On call start’ framing to reframe only at the beginning of the session.

  • Select Speaker View to highlight the active speaker while showing the entire room.
