Video Flickering in Meet on ChromeOS room compute with CollabOS devices on CollabOS 1.14

• Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, Rally Bar Huddle, Sight

Conditions:

• The Picture-in-Picture (PiP) window flickers intermittently during a Google Meet video call when using Logitech devices running CollabOS 1.14 with ChromeOS-based room computers.

Workaround:

• For ChromeOS room compute running ChromeOS 126.2

  • Sign in to the Google admin console.

  • Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Device Settings

  • Locate the “Digital camera framing” setting

  • Change it to “Manufacturer framing”

• For ChromeOS room compute running ChromeOS 132

  • Logitech is actively working on a permanent resolution.

  • In the meantime, switch the device to Manual mode to maintain stable video during calls.
