How does the Talk-to-Text F-Key work on Bolt keyboards?

Talk-to-Text on Bolt Keyboards

For a list of Logitech Bolt devices this article applies to, please scroll to the end of this article.

Windows®, macOS®, and iPadOS® operating systems have native dictation features: Online Speech Recognition for Windows, Apple Dictation for macOS, and iPadOS. Reliable use of dictation often requires an internet connection. The Logitech voice-to-text key  activates enabled Dictation with the press of just one key instead of a combination of keys or menu navigation activation.

These dictation features may be subject to third-party privacy and usage terms and conditions. For further information about these third-party systems—Speech Recognition for Windows or Apple Dictation for macOS—please inquire with Microsoft and Apple product support, respectively.

Dictation (talk-to-text) is not the same as Voice Control. The Logitech talk-to-text key does not activate Voice Control.
