Preset Button Support

How do I pair the Preset Button to my Rally Camera?
Remove the battery pull tabs on each of your Preset Buttons and make sure the switch on the back of the button is in the unlock position, and make sure your Rally Camera is powered on and connected to a computer.
There are two ways to activate pairing mode on your Rally Camera. The first method is using the remote control: press the following button sequence—Home, Zoom Out, Zoom Out, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Home. Be sure to complete the sequence within 6 seconds. If successful, a blue LED on the front of the Rally Camera will begin flashing.
The second method is to press and hold the button on the back of the Rally Camera for 5 seconds, until the LED on the front flashes blue.
Press the Preset Button for 10 seconds or until pairing has completed. Pairing is complete when the button LED flashes blue and the Camera led stops flashing. Repeat these steps until all Preset Buttons are paired to the Rally Camera.
NOTE: The Preset Button LED may turn white or flash yellow during the pairing process, please ignore this and continue to press and hold the button for 10 seconds.
NOTE: If the button is not mounted, or the button mount is not attached, you may need to press the button by squeezing it, with your fingers on the back of the button and thumb pressing the front to fully engage the button.
How do I set a Preset and save it to a Preset Button?
Unlock the switch on the back of the button. With the camera mounted and the Control Side Box powered and connected, open a camera app, video conferencing software, or Logitech Sync to connect to the Rally Camera. Use the Remote Control to pan, tilt, and zoom to the desired scene, then hold the Preset Button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes white. Lock the switch on the back of the button to ensure the preset remains unchanged. Repeat these steps for each Preset Button.
What is the Range on the wireless BLE Preset Buttons?
The BLE buttons have a range of up to 50 meters in an open area.
How many Preset Buttons can be paired to a single Rally Camera?
Rally Camera supports up to five Preset Buttons, this is in addition to the three presets from the included Remote Control.
Note: Preset Buttons require Rally Camera Firmware v254.123 or greater.
What happens when I pair too many Preset Buttons to my Rally Camera?
If you pair a sixth Preset Button with your Rally Camera, it will automatically remove the least recently used Preset Button. To replace a specific Preset Button, press each of the Preset Buttons you want to keep, except for the one you wish to replace.
Why are my Preset Buttons not pairing to Rally Camera?
For Preset Button support, ensure your Rally Camera has firmware v254.123 or greater. Check that the switch on your Preset Button is in the unlocked position and follow the instructions here.
