Rally Remote information and troubleshooting
Below you will find a collection of common issues and troubleshooting as well as general information about the Rally Remote
Can I use the remote control from one Rally on another Rally?
The remote controls for Rally use radio frequency (RF) and are paired to the Rally at the factory. Consequently, the remote control will only control the Rally to which it is paired. If you would like to use the remote control on a different Rally, follow these steps:
Press and hold the button on the camera until the LED flashes.
Press and hold the button on the Display Hub until the LED flashes.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control until the LEDs on both the camera and Display Hub stop flashing.
If the pairing fails, repeat from step 1.
Note: Pairing a remote control to a different Rally will stop it from controlling the previous Rally it was paired to.
Can I use more than one remote control on Rally?
Yes, you can pair up to 5 remote controls to Rally. This is useful in larger rooms where access to a single remote control is difficult. Simply pair an additional remote control to Rally by following these steps:
Press and hold the button on the camera until the LED flashes.
Press and hold the button on the Display Hub until the LED flashes.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control until the LEDs on both the camera and Display Hub stop flashing.
If the pairing fails, repeat from step 1.
Remote control is not moving camera or functions are not working or Remote control is not controlling Rally Audio
Rally uses a special 3 way pairing between the remote control, the camera and the Display Hub. If the remote control is not working properly or you’re pairing the remote where either the remote control, the camera or the Display Hub are new, follow these steps:
Press and hold the button on the camera until the LED flashes.
Press and hold the button on the Display Hub until the LED flashes.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control until the LEDs on both the camera and Display Hub stop flashing.
If the pairing fails, repeat from step 1.
Additionally, check the batteries of the remote control and replace them if needed. The Rally remote control utilizes a CR2032 Lithium Battery. With average use, the battery should last 1-2 years.
