NEW FEATURES

  • Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android supports Logitech Tap as touch console

    • MTR on Android now supports the use of Logitech Tap as touch console along with Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini products

      • Note: HDMI input support coming in a future CollabOS update

IMPROVEMENTS

BUG FIXES 

  • Fixed issue where onboarding experience on a device would not proceed beyond network setup screen when using Manual IP

  • Fixed issue where virtual keyboard would not show up when the language selected was French or Spanish.

  • Fixed issue where devices firmware update would not be complete when updating the device through Sync Portal. 

  • Fixed issue where the transfer of the CA certificate would be interrupted with the device going into BYOD mode.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • White or Purple screen In BYOD mode: Sometimes a white screen is seen when HDMI-IN is connected and the USB is disconnected.

    • Workaround: Disconnect both the HDMI-IN and USB cable from the PC. This will return the device to the Room application (Zoom Rooms,Teams Rooms on Android, or BYOD). Next, connect the HDMI-IN and/or the USB cable to bring back the BYOD functionality.

  • Connection to the following types of wireless access points is not supported in this release:

    • Hidden SSID using WPA-Enterprise settings

      • WPA TKIP

  • Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android: 

    • Note: Rally Bar’s remote control is automatically placed into PTZ camera control mode when connected to Logitech Tap

      • Note: Touch display support is not supported while connected to Logitech Tap

      • Live Captions is not currently supported on Logitech Tap

      • Microsoft Admin center sometimes fail to enroll the device when connected to Logitech Tap

      • When setting Teams PIN from Admin Center only 4 numeric PIN is allowed 

      • Some issues with videos not displayed when spotlighting users in Teams

      • The Participant list on the Logitech Tap device does not showing the proper state of the video

      • Primary screen content is shown in Second Screen when the device wakes up from idle mode.

        • Workaround: Reboot of the device is needed. In cases where the Logitech Tap device is also connected, disconnect and reconnect the Logitech Tap device

      • If the volume is brought down to "0" zero, it doesn't turn back to any positive value

        • Workaround: Reboot of the device is needed.

      • When in call, participant list shows that video is off even though video works

      • Not all participants' videos appear in Gallery mode
