NEW FEATURES

  • Introducing Camera Zone!

    • Camera Zone allows you to specify an area for the camera to actively detect and frame meeting participants, reducing distractions and ensuring that only the relevant activity within the specified area is captured.

      • Camera Zone is available for Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini deployed in Appliance Mode. USB Mode support is coming in an upcoming CollabOS update. USB Mode users can evaluate the feature now by setting a zone in appliance mode.

  • Logitech Sight support

    • Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini now work with Logitech Sight, an AI-powered tabletop camera with intelligent multi-participant framing. Learn more about Logitech Sight.

  • Scheduled Reboots are now available in Sync

    • You can now schedule daily or weekly device reboots using Logitech Sync.

    • Out-of-meeting room occupancy in Sync

      • Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini will send room occupancy data to Sync to provide both in-meeting and out-of-meeting room occupancy information. This feature is available for both USB Mode and Appliance Mode configurations.

        • Note: Room Occupancy is part of the Insights feature within Sync and requires either a Sync Plus or Select Room license.

    • Zoom Rooms Appliance

      • We’ve enhanced the BYOD experience on Zoom Room so that the meeting room controller and scheduler won’t appear offline while in BYOD mode. Additionally, BYOD sessions can automatically book the meeting room. Learn more here.

      • RightSight 2 Speaker View

        • The Speaker View feature is no longer labeled as "beta". Thank you for your feedback, which helped ud refine the feature.

      • Hostname character limit increased

        • Network-connected devices now allow custom hostnames to be longer than the NetBIOS 15-character limit. Hostnames can be configured using on-device settings or LNA.

BUG FIXES

    • Fixed an issue where in some cases Sync Insights were not being reported.

  • Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android 

    • Fixed an issue in Teams Rooms where Teams crashed in Front Row mode when using a dual display setup.

    • Fixed an issue when the feedback dialog appears on the main display instead of Tap.

    • Fixed an issue where certain devices coming out of office hours would show a purple Logi screen

    • Fixed an issue where sometimes the mute state on the UI did not always match the mute state of the device's microphone.

  • Zoom Rooms Appliance

    • Fixed an issue where in certain network conditions, the active speaker tile would show green pixelation artifacts.

    • Fixed an issue where Zoom Rooms devices were waking up from sleep mode even when the on-device settings for AI viewfinder settings were disabled.
