What is the Screen Share Application and do I need it?

The Screen Share Application was custom-designed for the Screen Share Device to facilitate in-room collaboration and content sharing. Once installed, the application will run in the background and automatically bring up a window displaying the content being shared through the HDMI connection.

While the Screen Share Application is not required to use the Screen Share Device, we highly recommend installing it to improve the content sharing experience. Without the Screen Share Application, you would need to manually display the incoming video feed using a third-party application.
