What type of category cable can I use with Scribe?

The kit includes Cat5e SF/UTP AWG 26.  Category cable meeting or exceeding this spec is recommended. There are four elements to consider:

• Category Class: Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7 and so forth

• Shielding: SF/UTP or SFTP

• AWG: 26, 24, 23 and so forth.

• Compliance Requirements: Plenum or local building/safety codes

For Example:

Supported:  Cat6a SFTP AWG 24

Unsupported: Cat5 UTP AWG 28
