Use Spotlight with Barco ClickShare

Spotlight works with ClickShare, but you need to make sure you do a few things:

• Make sure you install the Spotlight software on the laptop you use for the presentation 

• Make sure the Spotlight USB dongle is connected to this laptop. (It will not work if you connect the dongle directly into the ClickShare base receiver because you need to install the Spotlight software to make it work and this isn't possible on the ClickShare base.)

• When sharing with ClickShare, make sure you share the whole desktop from your laptop and not only a window.

• If you are using Windows 7, you'll also need to enable the 'Capture more' option in the ClickShare settings:

  1. Click on the ClickShare icon.

     

  2. Click on Capture more.

  

  NOTE: This step is NOT required when using a Mac or Windows 10.
