Set up O365 Calendar integration with Sync
This article will walk you through the process of setting up a calendar resource in O365. Calendar resources are essential for Logitech Room Booking as it is the calendar that you will assign to your rooms and what will allow users to book time in each room.
Prerequisites
When you configure Logitech Room Booking connection to Office 365 you will need access to Office 365 Admin. If you have access you will be able to choose Office 365 Admin in the top left corner when logged into your Office 365 account. If you do not have access to Office 365 Admin you may need to contact your IT department.
You will also need to be logged in as an administrator in Sync with Admin privileges. More information can be found here: Sync Admin Guide.
Service account
Start by setting up an Office 365 user account. Our recommended license for the user is "Exchange Online Plan 1", but any Exchange enabled license will work.
This account will be used by Logitech Room Booking to connect to O365 so it will be visible when someone books a meeting directly on the tablet. Give it an intuitive name, for example, âDirect bookingâ.
