Can I migrate my existing organization or existing rooms/devices from one region to another?

In order to ensure complete separation of data across various regional instances, there are no automatic migration tools available. Please de-provision the room in one instance and re-provision in the desired one. 

Will Sync support data storage in more countries or regions?

We support Global (US), EU, CA, FR. There are no current plans to expand data storage to other countries or regions at this time.

My company is multinational, how do I manage two or more regions?
An organization can exist in multiple regions to accommodate your needs. You will need to set up multiple accounts. One in each regional Sync instance that you require. Rooms and devices in each region will be provisioned to the instance that meets the data privacy requirements of your business.

Will my Sync portal logins/credentials work across all regions?

You will have to have an account in each region you wish to use, however, you can create accounts in all regions using the same email address and password combination 

Are there any differences to provisioning devices in different regions?

Yes, there are a few differences, please see the table below.

Do I use the same bulk provisioning package for different regions?

No, the provisioning packages are unique per region. Download a bulk provisioning package from the intended region to provision devices into the correct Sync instance.

 

Are there any differences for firewall or proxy configurations?

Yes, there are a few differences in URLs to whitelist. You can find them all on the Sync firewall and proxy support page here.

Can I use SSO with different regions?

Yes, you can use SSO with other regions. Request SSO access like normal through Sync and we will help you enable SSO authentication. 

Can I use Insights and Alerts in regions where Logi Select/Sync Plus is currently not available?

Yes, Insights and Alerts will continue as a free trial in those regions until Logi Select and Sync Plus are available. Please contact Support to be enabled.
