Viewing and Accessing Past Insights and Activity log Data
30-Day Data Window
The Logitech Sync Portal currently stores and displays activity data, including logs and insights, for a 30‑day window. There is no native feature within the portal to retrieve or view logs beyond this timeframe.
This 30-day limit applies to the following sections of Logitech Sync:
Organization Activity Log: Located under System > Activity Log. This shows organization‑level events such as user changes, license allocation, alerts, and SCIM updates.
Room Activity Logs: Located under Meeting Rooms > [Select Room] > Room. These logs track specific events for individual rooms.
Room Occupancy Insights: Located under Meeting Rooms > Insights. Reports generated here are based on data from the last 30 days.
Sync Cloud API Limitations
The Sync Cloud API does not currently expose activity logs. Users cannot utilize the API to programmatically export or archive activity log data (events showing "who did what") for long-term storage.
While activity logs are not available, other system data can be retrieved via the API for integration with third-party monitoring tools, including:
Device Details: Serial numbers, firmware versions, and connected peripherals.
Status Monitoring: Real-time device health and connectivity status.
Insights: Room occupancy and usage data.
To view the specific data schemas available for your organization, navigate to System > Sync Cloud API > Schemas within the Sync Portal.
For more information on authorizing and utilizing the API, please see the Getting Started - Enterprise API Quick Start Guide.
Retaining Data Beyond 30 Days
Since the portal does not store history past 30 days, the only method to retain this data is to export and archive it manually or via scheduled reports before the 30-day window expires.
Organizations with a Logitech Essential or Logitech Select license can utilize Sync Reports:
Navigate to System > Reports.
Schedule regular CSV exports of rooms, desks, and personal device data.
Configure these reports to be sent to an email address automatically.
By scheduling these reports, you can build an external archive of your organization's data for long-term reference.
