A Guide to Extending Rally Microphones with Rally Bars and Rally Systems (Mic Pod CAT Coupler)
The Logitech Rally Mic Pods are designed to enhance audio coverage. They are modular, microphones with RightSound™ technology that ensure clear and natural-sounding conversations. The microphones can be connected to the system through the mic port, and if you need to extend the connection, Logitech provides 10 m cables or the Rally Mic Coupler.
Rally Mic Coupler extends the length of Rally Mic Pod cables by connecting Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler to a standard CAT cable.
Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports CAT cable lengths up to a maximum of 20m (65.6 ft)
Supported cable types: CAT6 SFTP/SSTP
NOTE: While a CAT cable is used to extend the length of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs, they do not convert these parts into ethernet devices.
IMPORTANT: In no case should the mic pods or cat cable used with this product be connected directly to a network port, computer, network switch or the RJ45 port on the Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or Rally Plus. Doing so may damage the connected device and is not covered under warranty.
Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini
Rally Bar with Rally Mic Pod Cat Coupler supports connecting up to two Rally Mic Pod Hubs and four Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in any order, but the Mic Pod Cat Couple must be connected to Rally Bar.
Rally Bar Mini with Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports connecting up to two Rally Mic Pod Hubs and three Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in any order, but the Mic Pod CAT Coupler must be connected to Rally Bar Mini.
Rally and Rally Plus
With the basic configuration, Rally and Rally Plus with Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports connecting up to a total of seven Rally Mic Pod Hubs and/or Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in order, but the Mic Pod CAT Coupler must be connected to the Rally Plus Table Hub.
Rally and Rally Plus also Support a CAT cable of up to 3m (9.8 ft) between each of the Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs. Again, in this configuration a combination of up to seven Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs is supported.
Rally Mic Pod Extension Cable
Rally Mic Pod Extension Cable, is a 10-meter, plenum- and ECA-rated cable that allows mic pods to be placed farther away from the video bar. Up to two extension cables can be used with Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini, and one can be used with Rally and Rally Plus.
With Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini, the two extension cables can be placed anywhere in the sequence of mic pods and extension cables. (The Rally Bar Huddle does not support external microphones)
The extension cable must be connected to the table hub with the Rally system (Rally and Rally Plus).

Short Distance Extension for Rally Bars
The Rally Mic Pod Hub can be used to extend the distance of the Rally Mic Pod’s attached 2.95-meter (9.7 feet) cable, providing an additional 2.95 meters (9.7 feet). This is particularly useful when a few extra feet are needed. The Rally Bar supports one Rally Mic Pod coupler, two 10-meter (32.8 feet) mic extension cables, two Mic Pod Hubs, and up to four Rally Microphones (or three for the Rally Bar Mini).
While the Mic Pod Hub is commonly used in a hub-and-spoke configuration…
…it can also simply extend the Mic Pod cable's length, offering deployment flexibility.
Short Distance Extension for Rally and Rally Plus Systems
The Rally Mic pod Hub can also be used for short-distance extensions for the Rally and Rally Plus systems, as described in the Rally Bar's description above.
However, the Rally Mic mod couper may also be used for short-distance extensions on the Rally and Rally Plus systems.

Rally and Rally Plus also Support a CAT cable of up to 3m (9.8 ft) between each of the Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs. Additionally, this configuration supports a combination of up to seven Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs, enabling enhanced short-distance extension capabilities between each microphone.
