First Appliance

Hi,

We have a small meeting room (4-6 people) which needs a VC solution. Currently using the space with laptop/tablet as and when needed. We want to put in a video conferencing solution which would be permanently installed and ready for use. We're looking for an appliance and ideally would not need to deploy a mini PC.

We're currently a Microsoft O365 house so Teams will be the primary meeting platform. However, the option to use Zoom or Meet would be useful (both for joining when needed and giving us other options should we ever move away from O365). Again, the preference is appliance, without the need to deploy a dedicated PC.

Right now, the Rally Bar Huddle is looking like the best option. Would this meet our requirements? It's not clear that Teams/Zoom/Meet can all operate in Appliance mode. It seems like Team will, Zoom might and Meet would likely need a PC or Chrome OS device. Am I correct in my understanding of this?

The Tap IP also looks useful. Has anyone any experience of it? If we don't get the Tap IP, how do you start/join/control calls?

Looking for feedback from others who have experience of deploying the Rally Bar Huddle.

Many thanks,
D
