Logitech Sync app unstable - Unable to update Meetup 2 firmware on MacBook Pro M1 Silicon

After several hours and dozens of attempts to use Logitech Sync app for Mac Silicon, including default factory resets of Meetup 2 video teleconference device, I am unable to update to latest Meetup 2 firmware and am stuck with only version 0.500 of Meetup 2 firmware which is a prototype firmware version and not theoretically usable in real practical life for video conferencing. The only possible way to update the firmware was to connect to a Windows computer and update the firmware from there. The Logitech Sync app for Mac Silicon is full of bugs and needs to be fixed. This is a very expensive piece of hardware advertised as fully Mac compatible.
