MX 2 wireless keyboard suddenly had wrong mapping and now can't re-connect

Hi,

I woke up to an unusable keyboard today. When I booted my machine the backspace button was mapped to volume down and every other key mapping was mixed up. I made windows 'forget' the keyboard and rebooted. Now I can't connect the keyboard anymore, it either refuses the pin or it simply does not respond when I enter one. If I hold the 1 button down, it won't start blinking fast. It blinks slowly. If I hold down the 2 butotn, the 1 button starts blinking fast and my machine detects the keyboard. Never is a pin accepted, 9 out of 10 times there is no response to a pin entered.

I cant start the logitec app, it just does nothing but its services are running.

I tried esc + O, esc + O, esc + B, buttons light up, I restart the keyboard, same behavior no change.

I tried everthing on the internet, I tried fn+1 and fn + 2 and fn + 3 and sometimes one of those buttons will respond by blinking rapidly, sometimes they trigger another button to blink rapidly, sometimes I get a connection prompt sometimes I do not, never is the connection working.

Did a bad update roll out, is there anything I can do? THe keyboard is new and wasn't cheap.
