Roll Back CollabOS Version

Looking to see if there's any way to be able to downgrade a CollabOS version without factory resetting the device. We Want to test certain CollabOS features on new versions, but are hopeful to have an easier process if we need to downgrade. I want to say there's security reasons to why this is not currently possible. Not sure if anyone from the Product team can clarify why this is not available, and confirm if this is not on the roadmap.
