Tap IP Behavior in BYOD Mode with Rally Bar
Currently, when we activate the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) mode by connecting a laptop to the Rally Bar via the provided USB-C cable, the paired Tap IP controller loses synchronization with the Rally Bar and enters a continuous rebooting cycle. This behavior persists until the laptop is disconnected.
This presents a confusing and misleading experience for our users, as it appears the Tap IP is malfunctioning or has encountered a critical error. We believe this behavior could be improved to create a more intuitive and seamless user experience.
Ideal scenario would be for the Tap IP to display a stable, informative interface when the Rally Bar is in BYOD mode. A great example of this is the interface shown on the standard (non-IP) Logitech Tap when its connected device enters BYOD mode, which clearly indicates the status of the room system.
