I heard I shouldn’t unplug Logitech GROUP component cables while in use. Why?

GROUP conferencing system was designed to stay in place once set up, and hot-plugging might cause issues. It should not be plugged or unplugged while in use and the hub is powered on. You can move the USB connection to another computer, but the other cables should stay in place and only be unplugged and plugged back in during troubleshooting.

In the event that the cable accidentally becomes unplugged, it is recommended to power cycle (turn the power off and back on)the device once the cables are reconnected.  You can do this by unplugging and plugging the power back from the hub.
