Rally Bar & Rally Bar Mini Camera “friendly name” is mislabeled “USB Video Device”

  • Conditions: Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini devices running CollabOS 2.0 or CollabOS 2.0.A configured for either USB Device Mode or used in a BYOD session while configured for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android (MTRoA) or Zoom Rooms on Android (ZRoA) will appear to have a USB camera “friendly name” of “USB Video Device” instead of the expected “Logitech Rally Bar” or “Logitech Rally Bar Mini”.  Note: the USB microphone and speaker device names are unaffected.

  • Resolution/Workaround : Download and Install Sync App version 3.9.319 and reboot PC.

  • Resolution Progress: Logitech is investigating this issue.
