Teams Rooms Certified Releases for Logitech USB devices on Teams Rooms on Windows

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows will now receive automatic Teams Rooms Certified Releases for Logitech devices. These updates will install automatically, ensuring that Logitech devices have the latest Teams Rooms Certified Releases.

A Teams Rooms Certified Release is a software release for each Logitech product that has been validated and certified by both Logitech and Microsoft for use in Teams Rooms on Windows solutions.

After Microsoft certifies a software release, there's a 30-day window during which the update is rolled out in stages, as part of Microsoft's Windows Update policy. After the 30-day window, all devices will automatically update to the latest Teams Rooms Certified Release. The Teams Rooms Certified Release will be applied overnight outside of office hours.

Please note: When Logitech publishes a CollabOS update through Windows Update, this update may require a specific version of the Sync App. In these cases, the update will also automatically upgrade Sync to the required version.

What does the versioning scheme look like?

The latest Teams Rooms Certified Releases for Logitech products are delivered using Windows Update.

Releases available in gradual roll out:

• Windows updates are released gradually to small groups of devices first, then expanded in stages. It usually takes a few weeks before fully rolled out.

Releases available in production:

CollabOS devices will automatically update to the latest version during overnight updates. This update will also include the new certified driver version. Please note that some releases are being gradually rolled out and will appear in Windows Update when they become available for your device.
