Equipping High-Value Spaces with Logitech and Microsoft Teams Rooms
When it comes to deploying video conference solutions in larger, more complex meeting spaces, a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. As room sizes grow, camera placement, microphone pickup, and facilitating hybrid collaboration become real challenges.
In this article, we’ll explore how to equip larger, more complex Microsoft Teams Rooms with the right combination of Logitech devices to ensure that all participants have a collaborative and productive meeting experience.
Bowling Alley-Style Rooms
In standard medium and large meeting rooms, one of the most common challenges is ensuring that everyone is seen and heard, especially those at the far end of the table.
In these rooms, we recommend adding Logitech Sight. As a center-of-table companion camera that pairs with Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini, Sight extends both the camera and the microphone pickup to the center of the room. The result? Coordinated front and center views so that remote participants can follow the conversation, no matter where it goes. Also important to note is that Sight, together with Rally Bar, will work seamlessly regardless of whether you’re in a Microsoft Teams Room on Android or Windows.
Boardrooms
Building on the example above, for extra-large boardrooms with even more seats, adding a second Logitech Sight ensures even more coverage throughout the space.
When two Sights and the Rally Bar are all connected together, the system utilizes a total of five camera views, and multiple microphones built into the devices for full coverage across the entire table. Similar to the previous example, dual Sights will also work seamlessly in both Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android and Windows.
Classrooms and All-Hands Spaces
Not all spaces are designed around a central table. Training areas, classrooms, and all-hands spaces often have tables and chairs distributed throughout the room. In these cases, a mounted camera configuration is an ideal approach.
Simply mount Logitech’s Rally Camera around the room for multiple views of the action. Additionally, use our Rally Camera Extension Kit to use category cable for clean routing.
For remote attendees, Microsoft’s Multiple Camera View feature provides the flexibility to switch between angles, allowing them to curate a meeting experience that works for them. Multi-camera support is currently available for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows.
Open and Flexible Spaces
Some spaces are designed to be modular. Think tables and chairs on wheels, with different configurations throughout the day or week. In these areas, mobility is key.
With Rally Board 65 on a cart, you get a mobile, all-in-one video conferencing solution with touchscreen functionality. Its flip design lets you position the camera above or below the display, making it adaptable for different meeting styles and room setups.
All People. All Spaces.
Not all spaces are created the same. To facilitate effective collaboration and employee productivity, Logitech’s portfolio is designed to scale and flex as room requirements evolve. Paired with Microsoft Teams Rooms, these solutions deliver high-quality, inclusive meetings across every environment—from compact rooms to open spaces and large boardrooms.
