InfoComm 2024: Unveiling Logitech's Latest Innovations

InfoComm has just finished, and we had the opportunity to showcase several innovations designed to transform conference rooms, shared office spaces, and home offices. Let’s explore everything we showcased this year.

Innovations for Next-Generation Conference Rooms

MeetUp 2 - The Next-Generation BYOD Experience

We demoed the recently announced Logitech’s MeetUp 2, the latest addition to our solution portfolio for small conference rooms. We demonstrated its AI-driven capabilities, including intelligent framing with RightSight 2, which offers Speaker Focus, Group View, and Grid View, all in a plug-and-play system. We also highlighted the simplicity of its single-cable connectivity, allowing employees to use a single USB-C cable for both screen sharing and activating the camera for use during meetings.

Smart Switching with Sight

We showcased Smart Switching, the latest feature for Logitech Sight. Smart Switching dynamically switches between the front-of-room and center-of-table camera feeds based on the direction participants are facing, ensuring a constant front-facing view of in-room participants. We’re still accepting partners to join the beta, click here to request access.

Logitech Room Booking

In addition to the variety of Room Booking solutions available for our Tap Scheduler, we showcased the new Logitech Room Booking solution. Paired with Logitech Desk Booking, we now enable employees to book both desks and conference rooms, providing a consistent, simple, and clean experience throughout the office.

More Power and More Flexibility in Services and Management

We introduced the latest addition to the Logitech Services portfolio: the Essential Tier. This new tier offers booking options for rooms and desks, along with insights, advanced management, alerts, and integration options.

Within our software service offering, we also showcased Sync Remote UI Access. Available for CollabOS networked devices, administrators now have the ability to view and interact with devices remotely through Local Network Access.

Cutting-edge features from Our Partnerships with Microsoft, Zoom, and Google

Copilot & Multi-Stream in Microsoft Teams

We previewed the upcoming multi-stream feature in a Microsoft Teams Room on Windows. This incoming feature sends up to five streams, offering remote participants a more immersive video experience with increased functionality during Teams meetings. Additionally, we showed a demo of speaker recognition and attribution, which significantly improves Teams Premium meeting summaries by attributing dialogue, summaries, and takeaways to the correct individual, even when they’re in a conference room. Then, with Copilot, users can ask specific questions about who said what, enhancing their ability to review and catch up on tasks and discussions.

Intelligent Director & Smart Name Tags in Zoom

We demonstrated how Zoom’s Intelligent Director can radically transform meetings in larger conference rooms utilizing a multi-camera setup, AI-driven camera switching, and Zoom’s Smart Gallery. Additionally, we showed a preview of Zoom’s Smart Name Tags feature, which displays the names of individuals in meeting rooms, helping remote participants better engage with people in the room and enabling transcriptions and features like AI Companion to better summarize meetings by attributing the conversations to the correct individual.

Gemini Features for Google Meet

We showcased Google's recently announced Gemini features, including dynamic layout, a new feature that dynamically splits identified meeting participants into individual frames, providing a more up-close and personal interaction between in-room and remote participants. We also demonstrated live captioning and translation with Google Gemini. This feature not only displays meeting conversations as live captions but can also auto-translate them in real-time, enhancing communication for participants across different languages.

Comprehensive Workspace Solutions for Every User

The Brand new Zone 305 Headset

Just like our expansive offering of mic and keyboards, Logitech has a wide range of headsets for all types of users. The new Zone 305 headset is our latest lightweight wireless option, designed to provide great audio and reliable connectivity, ensuring employees have clear and uninterrupted meetings and calls. It features dual noise-canceling microphones, dynamic speaker drivers, and up to 20 hours of battery life.

Versatile Devices for All User Types

Whether home or office, Logitech has docks and peripherals for every type of user. For office spaces utilizing flexible desks, we showcased Logi Dock Flex, offering docking and display capabilities with provisioning options on Logitech Desk Booking, Zoom Workspace Reservation, Microsoft Teams, and AppSpace.
