Introducing the CollabOS API: More Data for More Platforms

We’re excited to announce the introduction of the new CollabOS API, available to Logitech Collaboration Partners and soon to be released to the public. This new offering provides on-device data to platforms created by Logitech’s enterprise partners, expanding their ability to offer more comprehensive visibility for device monitoring, insights, and more for IT and Workplace service teams. Below, we explore the CollabOS API and how platforms from our partners at AVI-SPL, Utelogy, VisibilityOne, and Vyopta are leveraging CollabOS to enrich their offerings with more comprehensive data and features.

What’s new with the CollabOS API?

The CollabOS API provides data on device details, configurations, status, and room occupancy. Platforms created by Logitech’s enterprise partners will be able to retrieve device-specific information like serial numbers, firmware versions, service providers, connected Logitech peripherals, and more. Additionally, partners can access device status information to track room usage, as well as on-device volume levels and microphone status. The API also provides room occupancy data, enabling partner platforms to deliver room insights for spaces equipped with Logitech devices.

With this enhanced visibility into device details, let’s explore how some of Logitech’s enterprise partners are leveraging the CollabOS API to enrich their platform offerings for Logitech customers.

AVI-SPL Symphony

The integration of the CollabOS API into AVI-SPL Symphony allows the platform to provide key services that incorporate Logitech’s portfolio, offering more data and more devices within the Symphony platform. IT teams can now view the full range of their deployed devices with real-time monitoring. With Symphony’s automatic ticket creation, IT teams experience easier and faster ticket creation prompted by the device conditions, ensuring faster resolutions and greater device uptime.
