What is Sound Shape?
Traditional speakers project sound much like a light bulb casts light, uniformly in every direction. In larger rooms, that undirected audio bounces off walls, windows, and floors, creating acoustic distortion, reverberation, and uneven volume levels.
Sound Shape changes the game by treating sound more like a flashlight treats light, focusing and projecting audio precisely where it’s needed.
Rather than flooding the entire space, Sound Shape lets you control where sound is concentrated in the room. It directs more acoustic energy toward the intended listening area, while actively reducing and cancelling sound in unwanted directions. This minimizes reflections from walls and other surfaces, improving speech clarity and delivering more consistent audio throughout the listening area.

Sound Shape comes to life in our latest audio hardware: Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max. Both speakers combine Sound Shape technology with powerful speaker driver arrays to deliver full, room-filling audio directly from the front of the room. Designed with IT teams in mind, they address the operational complexities of large-scale deployments, ensuring high-performance audio and streamlined management.
With straightforward mounting and clean aesthetic integration, they eliminate the need for endless cable runs or cutting into ceiling tiles, connecting power and data seamlessly over a common category cable using Logitech Link, our secure AV-over-IP technology.
Rally Speaker 2 Pro delivers balanced, intelligent audio to large meeting spaces, reaching participants seated up to 14 meters (46 feet) from the front of the room. For extra-large environments, Rally Speaker 2 Max extends this performance, ensuring balanced, intelligible sound for participants seated as far as 20 meters (65 feet) away.
