Display Controls
Starting with Zoom Rooms display controls, users can select from three different options for automated camera behavior during meetings. Speaker view frames the camera to focus on a single active speaker, which is best used in meetings where there is a single presenter. Auto-framing traditionally frames the entire group in the room. The multi-stream splits participants into their own individual frames and adjusts active speakers’ videos for easier viewing, which can be useful in meetings where many meeting participants are actively engaged.
RightSight 2
Logitech’s RightSight 2 technology allows for key configurations and enhancements that further optimize and increase engagement during meetings. Camera Zone allows administrators to designate a framing zone for the camera, eliminating distractions and focusing on the participants within the zone. With Grid View Sub-Tiling, even more individuals can be individually framed and presented during meetings.
Advanced Features for Larger Rooms
Connecting in-room and remote participants has always been a challenge in larger spaces. Logitech and Zoom have each made special efforts to develop AI-enhanced hardware and Zoom Rooms solutions to elevate discussion and engagement, even in larger spaces.
Zoom Rooms Intelligent Director
Zoom intelligent director is a software-based, multi-camera, and multi-stream feature for larger spaces. It coordinates the feeds from multiple in-room cameras, selecting and displaying the best view of up to 16 individuals in the Zoom Room. A dedicated presenter camera can also be added to highlight a speaker at the front of the room, providing more individual representation. RightSound 2
Logitech’s RightSound 2 technology further enhances the audio experience and is especially helpful in larger conference rooms. Voice Equalization adjusts the volume levels of different speakers, regardless of their position in the room, ensuring consistent audio levels for remote participants. Echo Suppression reduces the reverb and echo coming from hard surfaces like walls and ceilings, presenting clearer and crisper voices, even in larger spaces.
Enhancing Post-Meeting Productivity
AI functionality can also enhance the post-meeting experience for both employees who attended and those who didn’t by summarizing key takeaways from the meeting and helping to outline the next steps.
Zoom AI Companion
Zoom AI Companion* provides meeting summaries with key action items, making it easier to review important points and save time by not having to take notes. Additionally, with Smart Recordings, users can review meeting transcriptions when they need to focus on specific details discussed during the meeting, organize cloud recordings into sections called smart chapters, get the key takeaways in a quick and digestible format through recording highlights, and more.
