Advanced Management Through Group Settings

Group Settings:  Sync enables you to monitor devices and adjust settings to groups of rooms, rather than all devices organization-wide. You can create and modify groups in the inventory section of Sync, and create subgroups within groups for even more precision. This includes:

  • Group Settings: Push firmware updates, and configure audio & video settings by groups. Find group settings under the new “Settings” tab in Sync. 

  • Group Visibility: IT access control allows you to hide or show groups to different users in your organization. Now the IT administrator in one location doesn’t have to see the devices they’re not managing.

  • Group Rebooting: Need to restart more than one device? Now you can reboot groups of devices through Sync, all remotely.

Manage Personal Devices with Ease

Embracing the new ‘work from anywhere’ reality, Sync now lets you remotely monitor and publish firmware updates to select company-issued Logitech personal webcams, headsets, and Logi Docks. Now you can track the overall usage of the devices you deploy and facilitate compatibility by ensuring that select devices are on the latest firmware.

Personal webcams, headset, and Logi Docks are just the beginning. We’ve also added visibility to many Logitech mice & keyboards inside Sync and Tune displaying firmware version, connectivity type (unifying receiver, bluetooth, bolt receiver) and battery life.

Hybrid work has forced organizations to reevaluate how everything from devices, to conference rooms and real estate affect employee engagement, inclusion, and productivity. Our Insights features in Sync allow IT and facilities teams to measure device and room utilization in real-time.

  • See how rooms are being used: You can track metrics for individual rooms, and see both room and seat usage. Sync will show a graph overview of whether rooms are over-, under-used, or just right. 

  • Export and compare occupancy data: You can now export Insights data from Sync for cross-platform comparison, giving you a more comprehensive look at your space utilization.

Additional Updates

Provisioning Codes:  You no longer need to use an email and password when provisioning a device. We now provide a provisioning code during setup for a quicker, simpler setup.

Logitech Sync now offers the ability to perform remote device reboots at a scheduled time for individual or groups of devices running CollabOS. This new feature is particularly useful for organizations that need to perform maintenance tasks during off-hours to avoid interrupting important meetings or collaborations. For example, you can now schedule a reboot for all devices at 2 AM every Sunday, ensuring that they are up-to-date and running smoothly for the workweek ahead.
