Google Meet Comes to Rally Board 65 

We designed Rally Board 65 for quick installations in standard meeting rooms and flexible deployment in open workspaces. We launched the device with certifications for appliance-based Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android. 

With CollabOS 2.1, Rally Board 65 can now be deployed with Google Meet on Android. As our first certified all-in-one device for this platform, it provides IT teams with an ideal solution for open workspace collaborations or quick, minimal-cable installations in standard rooms. More Immersive Meetings with Rally Board 65

One of the best parts of Logitech’s video collaboration devices is how they enhance interactions between on-site and remote employees through software designed to enable people to be seen and heard clearly. 

In open workspaces, one of the primary use cases for Rally Board 65, this becomes a unique challenge. Without walls, background movement and ambient noise have the potential to create constant distraction. With CollabOS 2.1, IT teams can now deploy a stack of software-enabled meeting tools that create a truly immersive meeting experience. 

We start with Camera Zone. While this feature had been introduced as part of a previous CollabOS release, it sets the groundwork by defining a specific zone for the camera. Rally Board 65 will then frame participants inside the zone, and ignore those who are outside of the zone. 

While framing solves a visual problem, external and ambient noise present another challenge. Mic Zone addresses this by attenuating voices and sounds outside of the zone, helping remote participants to focus on the conversations happening in the meeting. 

Finally, Depth Blur applies a soft blur effect to the background outside the zone. Just another layer to further reduce distractions and keep remote participant’s focus in the meeting. 

Even More Features for Rally Board 65

CollabOS 2.1 also brings critical insights and workspace automation features to Rally Board 65. Administrators can now enable Always-On Occupancy, allowing the device to capture room utilization data both during and outside of active video meetings. 

Beyond richer data insights, Always-On Occupancy powers Logitech's Auto Book and Auto Release features. These automations ensure that meeting spaces are automatically booked when occupied and freed up when empty, giving a much more accurate view of room availability across the office.

Finally, while teams already love the image quality delivered by our custom camera lens in Rally Board 65, CollabOS 2.1 takes that performance a step further. We’ve optimized and sharpened the video feed specifically at standard meeting distances, ensuring participants look even better on camera. 

New Partner Integrations for Logitech Spot

Organizations love Logitech Spot because it brings environmental insights, and workspace automation features to the entire office, including those blind spots like phone booths, and non-video spaces where capturing data was previously difficult. With our latest release, Spot can do even more with our partners. 

Zoom organizations can now view Spot’s environmental data in Zoom Dashboard to better understand room usage and conditions. 

For Microsoft Teams organizations, Spot’s presence detection enables occupancy status banners on Teams Panels and automatically triggers Auto Release to free up rooms when scheduled meetings go unattended.

CollabOS 2.1 also introduces several updates across the rest of the portfolio:

• Wi-Fi connectivity for Tap IP and Tap Scheduler allows these devices to connect to Wi-Fi even when receiving power via a PoE (Power over Ethernet) network switch, offering greater deployment flexibility.

• HDMI-In audio support for Google Meet is now generally available across Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, and Rally Bar Huddle. 

• The Rally Camera Streamline Kit on RoomMate enables IT teams to connect a single or multiple Rally Cameras to Logitech RoomMate using category cabling.

• With this release, Tap meeting controllers support Tap HDMI ingest for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.

• GoTo Resolve returns with CollabOS 2.1, making the service available for Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate, Tap IP, and Tap Scheduler.

• Eptura officially joins the Tap Scheduler platform as a native room-provisioning option.
