Product Comparisons
Rally AI Camera offers a modern intelligent alternative to the original Rally Camera while serving as a more discreet option compared to the Pro model:
Discreet Low Profile Design: Unlike the larger PTZ form factor of the original Rally Camera or the Rally AI Camera Pro, this model is designed for subtle wall or in-wall mounting that blends into the room environment.
Intelligent Video with Right Sight 3: Advanced AI-assisted framing modes such as Presenter View, Speaker View, and Grid View, providing a significant intelligence upgrade over the original Rally Camera.
Network Connected Management (coming soon): Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro connect directly to the network for remote monitoring and updates via Logitech Sync.
One-inch Imaging Sensor: While the Rally AI Camera Pro uses a dual camera system with 15x hybrid zoom for very large spaces, the Rally AI Camera uses a one powerful one-inch sensor and 3x digital zoom optimized for standard medium to large rooms.
Occupancy Insights: The Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro provide built-in people counting and space utilization data to Logitech Sync.

Setting up and connecting your device
Planning the installation / Mounting options
Planning the Installation
Rally AI Camera is recommended for room sizes of up to approximately
4.5m x 8m (15’ x 26’).
Rally AI Camera Pro is recommended for room sizes of up to approximately 6m x 10m (20’ x 32’).
The Rally AI Camera Pro can be installed above or below a display, to a wall, on a shelf, or on a tripod. Having the camera near eye level results in the best experience. Camera placement may require balancing display position and camera height.. Mounting the camera below the display typically provides the best results, especially in smaller rooms.
Mounting options
Rally AI Cameras Wall Mount
This essential mount is included with every Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro. It attaches easily to many solid mounting surfaces (drywall, wood panels, etc), but the included mounting hardware is primarily intended for drywall installation so be sure to obtain the appropriate hardware for other surfaces if necessary. The Rally AI Camera Wall Mount has hole patterns appropriate for new installations or retrofitting existing Rally Camera positions.
Rally AI Cameras TV Mount
The VESA-compatible Rally AI Cameras TV Mount is an ideal solution for minimizing the amount of installation within the wall surface and serves to keep the devices tightly aligned with the displays in a space. This mount can be leveraged to position the camera above or below the display.
NOTE: Rally AI Cameras do not support inverted mounting. Rally AI Camera Pro is intended to support inverted mounting in the future via free CollabOS updates.
Rally AI Cameras Ceiling Mount
This clean and modern ceiling-mounting solution can be paired with virtually any Installer supplied pipe and ceiling bracket combination. The back plate conceals wiring and simplifies installation.
NOTE: Rally AI Cameras do not support inverted mounting. A future accessory will be used to mount inverted Rally AI Cameras when supported.
Rally AI Camera Recessed Mount
The Rally AI Camera Recessed Mount is the pinnacle of polite technology design. When Rally AI Cameras are used with the Recessed Mounts, the technology blends seamlessly into the architecture allowing every angle to be seen while maintaining participant comfort. These low profile mounts fit in well in most spaces with the off-white cover included.
Rally AI Camera Pro Recessed Mount
The Rally AI Camera Pro Recessed Mount is the pinnacle of polite technology design. When Rally AI Camera Pros are used with the Recessed Mounts, the technology blends seamlessly into the architecture allowing every angle to be seen while maintaining participant comfort. These low profile mounts fit in well in most spaces with the off-white cover included.
Rally AI Cameras Wall Box Mount
The Rally AI Cameras Wall Box Mount supports North American and European box styles in horizontal or vertical positions with a wide variety of holes offered for peak versatility. The mounting connections are otherwise the same as the Rally AI Cameras Wall Mount.
Rally AI Cameras Pivot Mount
The Rally AI Cameras Pivot Mount pivots horizontally +/- 30°, providing greater installation flexibility. Use of this mount allows installers to adjust the field of view of the cameras to cover as much of the collaboration space as possible or accommodate non-square spaces without costly or complex carpentry solutions.
Tripod Mounting Rally AI Cameras
Rally AI Cameras can be mounted to standard tripod style mounting (permanently or temporarily) using the integrated ¼”-20 connection on the bottom of each camera.
Wiring Considerations
Follow these guidelines when planning for Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro installations:
Follow a supported wiring diagram
You can find all of the current and supported wiring configurations for Rally AI Cameras via the wiring diagrams support page. Wiring configurations that are not shown on these pages are not supported, but may function.
Avoid unknown variables
Where possible, minimize any unknowns. Use the included cabling or extensions with stated support. Confirm that planned power and data locations are available and wired correctly. If the device is being used in a locale with atypical outlet configurations, ensure that the included adapters will be sufficient.
Separate high-bandwidth AV from high-voltage electrical
Industry best-practices recommend maintaining no less than 4 in (0.1m) between high-bandwidth AV cabling and any high-voltage electrical lines. If these signals must cross, do so by positioning each at a 90-degree angle to minimize electromagnetic interference. In some locations, the requirements may vary; always confirm local requirements for installations with the authority having jurisdiction.
Make safety a priority
When installing devices above head height, ensure that devices and other elements are properly secured in adherence to industry standards and local regulations. In many locations, devices that protrude from the wall must also follow strict guidelines. In these cases, mount devices well within the required constraints or consider accessories like the In-Wall Mount to maintain aesthetic and safety requirements.

Management and Administration Options
Rally AI Cameras can be managed by a host such as a CollabOS bar or a PC running the Sync App.
You have two (2) options for managing your Rally AI Camera Pro:
Direct connection to a CollabOS Host (such as Rally Bar)
USB to a meeting room computer
CollabOS Host Managed
To manage a Rally AI Camera when connected to a supported CollabOS host, simply wire the camera to an available and supported port on the CollabOS host. The host will expose Rally AI Cameras within its own management systems such as LNA or CollabOS settings on a Tap.
Meeting Room Computer Managed
Managing Rally AI Cameras with a meeting room computer can be accomplished by leveraging the Sync App on the computer and/or supported functions within Service Provider application integrations such as Microsoft’s Pro Management Portal or Zoom Device Management. The USB connection to the meeting room computer allows simple plug-and-play connectivity in this scenario.
