  • Introducing Smart Switching (Beta) support for Logitech Sight!

    • Smart Switching dynamically switches between the front-of-room and center-of-table camera feeds based on the direction participants are facing, ensuring a constant, front-facing view of people in the room.

    • Logitech Essential, now available for Rooms and Desks, provides IT teams with advanced tools for remote device management, workspace booking, real-time alerts, and insights.

  • Zoom Rooms appliance

    • Available for Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini, Zoom Virtual Background allows you to display an image or video as your background during a Zoom Room meeting.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • RightSight 2

    • Sub-Tiling for Grid View brings the Sight-like people-framing experience to Rally Bars. With this release, Grid View is now on by default. 

      • Existing devices that upgrade to CollabOS 1.13 will retain the current setting.

      • New devices or existing devices that are factory reset and complete OOBE (out-of-box setup) will have Sub-Tiling on by default.

  • Issue Reporting

    • You can now upload audio recordings (previously, only video was supported) as part of the issue-reporting process.

    • All audio and video files are secured with end-to-end encryption. The reporter must share the generated password with the support team to grant them access to the files. To learn more, click here.

  • Sync Remote UI Access

    • We’ve made several user experience enhancements based on your feedback:

      • The in-room Remote UI session indicator is now red, and in-room participants in certain configurations can end an active Remote UI session directly from the controller.

      • Quick access buttons have been added to provide access to CollabOS device settings. 

      • A sound notification has been added when a Sync Remote UI session starts for better in-room awareness.

  • Local Network Access

    • You can now replace the default Logitech self-signed LNA web server certificate with an alternate certificate and private key.

  • Updated Time Zone Rules

    • We’ve updated the system to ensure the time zone database is up to date with recent global changes.

  • Image Enhancement (Rally Bar Mini)

    • The image quality has been improved by correcting the image distortion that is common on wider field-of-view lenses. Participants should now appear more geometrically accurate, especially those on the edge of the lens.

    • Updated the included Zoom Rooms Appliance app to 6.0.6.

  • RingCentral

    • Updated the included RingCentral version to 24.2.20.

BUG FIXES

  • CollabOS 

    • Fixed an issue where LNA (Local Network Access) would be disabled when using Sync to change LNA password.

    • Fixed an issue where LNA (Local Network Access) did not show the Smart Switching (Beta) option.

    • Fixed an issue where a device in BYOD appliance mode would go to a lower power state after 10 minutes during use.

  • Teams Rooms

    • Fixed an issue in Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android where devices would get signed out due to non-compliance in Intune.

  • Zoom Rooms

    • Fixed an issue where the camera controls in Zoom Rooms for Windows did not show the Speaker Focus option.

    • Fixed an issue where the Microphone icon would stop responding when used repeatedly in a Teams DGJ meeting.

    • Fixed an issue where the Scribe button would not start whiteboard sharing.

    • Fixed an issue where the microphone audio would loop back when content is shared through HDMI on a VDI client.
