2. Add Rooms and Desks

Once you've set up your Service Portal account, you're ready to add rooms and/or desks to your account so you can activate your service.

Please note: you will need admin access to make these changes. Read-only users will not be able to set up their account.

Add Rooms & Desks

Rooms and/or desks can be added manually, via Sync connection, or with a CSV upload. See below for instructions for each option. Once completed, you'll be ready to Assign Service Licenses

Add rooms from Sync

If your company uses Logitech Sync, map your Sync organizations to your Select account.

  1. In your service portal, click Import from Sync.

  2. Choose one or more organizations to enable rooms with Select licenses. 

    • Note: Choose only those Sync organizations (Sync accounts) with rooms that you wish to enable with Select or Sync Plus.

  3. Once the mapping is complete, all your rooms from your Sync organization(s) will automatically be loaded into the Services portal account.

 

Add rooms manually

  1. To manually add rooms, click Add rooms manually.

  2. Enter “Room Name” and optional additional details, such as its organization, group, and subgroup names.

Add rooms with CSV

1. Click Import from CSV.

You may use the CSV file exported from Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or other applications, and the import wizard will guide you through the steps.

2. Upload the CSV file.

  • If you have a custom CSV file, make sure it has a header row, the names of rooms you want to import, and any additional details such as their organization and group/subgroup names. Below is a sample CSV file format:

  • Room Name,Organization,Group/SubGroup

  • Room 1,Building 1,GroupA

  • Room 2,Building 1,GroupA

  • Room 3,Building 1,GroupB

3. After you have selected a file, click Continue and map the columns from the file with the Room Name header. Mapping the other fields is optional.

4. After you have correctly mapped the column(s), click Continue to preview the data that will be uploaded, and follow the prompts to complete the import flow.

Once you've added rooms and/or desks, you're ready to Assign Service Licenses
