1.2 Getting Started - Enroll Devices

Once you have created your Sync Tenant, you will have an empty environment in which to register your Sync compatible devices through one of the following methods.

Enrollment - Windows

1. Download Logitech Sync installer here: Download - Logitech Sync.

2. Install LogiSyncApp-Setup.

  • Accept the License Agreement.

 

 

3. Once the installation is complete, click on the “Get Started” button.

4. Enter your tenant’s Sync credentials and click on the “Connect Room” option to enroll the device:

 

 

5. Select your organization and click on the Join button. 

6. Enter the Room Name and Seat Count and click on next. 

7. Depending on which devices you are using, you can follow the Step-by-step installation instructions. If you don’t want to continue the guide, click on “Skip Setup”. 

 

8. Click the Done button. The next screen means that your room has been registered correctly.

 

Enrollment - Mac

1. Download Logitech Sync installer here: Link

2. Install LogiSyncInstaller.pkg

  • Accept the License Agreement.

 

3. Once the installation is complete, Sync will open.

4. Enter the room name and click “next.”

  • This must be done before connecting to Sync Portal.

  • If you click “Skip Setup,” you will be taken to the screen shown in step 5. To rename this room locally later, you may do so from the menu at the top right when disconnected from Sync Portal. 

5. Select “Room,” then click on CONNECT NOW.

6. Enter your tenant’s Sync credentials and click on the “Connect Room” option to enroll the device: 

7. Select your organization and click on the “Join” button.

 

8. The next screen means that your room has been registered correctly. 

 

Enrollment - CollabOS

1. Open Logitech settings.

 

2. Click on Sync Portal.

3. Click on Connect to Sync Portal. 

4. Select from one of two provisioning options 

Option 1: Use Sync Provisioning Code

  1. Find, or create your room in Logitech Sync

  2. Within the “Room” tab, click “Provision,” find your room provisioning code

  1. Enter your provisioning code into the fields provided

 

Option 2: Use Sync Login Credentials

  1. Enter the admin email address and password for your Logitech Sync account, then click on the Continue button.

 

  1. Select the organization

 

  1. Select the room from the list*

*Note, you’ll need to create the room in Logitech Sync prior to this step

  1.  Click “Connect to this room”

5. You will be redirected to the main Sync menu. If you see the “Connected” message in your connection status, it means that your device has been enrolled correctly. 

 

Enrollment - Bulk Provisioning

Sync allows for bulk provisioning of Meeting Rooms and Personal Devices. You can use bulk provisioning to enroll devices in Sync. Instructions for SCCM, JAMF, and INTUNE are in section 4.2 Bulk Provisioning.
