Sound quality is changed on my Zone Wireless 2 headset during media streaming
Zone Wireless 2 switches between two optimized presets for call and music sound.Ā
Call mode preset is activated when you are in a call using a microphone and optimized for the clear call quality.
Music mode preset is activated when you are playing media sound and optimized for immersive sound experience.Ā
Sometimes you may feel different sound quality while streaming media. This is because it is switched to the call optimized preset as the microphone is activated in the background or by the application youāre using.Ā Ā Ā
To switch to the music optimized preset, try to deactivate the microphone in following ways:
Quit any applications using a microphone, for example video conferencing apps or game apps. If the headset is connected to laptops, quit the Sound settings for Window OS and System Settings (or System Preferences) for Mac OS.
