Sound quality is degraded on my Zone Wireless 2 headset during media streaming
When you connect the headset with Bluetooth and use the headset’s microphone, you may experience low audio quality. This is because the headset has two modes for audio.
One is for calls and it will be activated when the microphones are in use.
The other is for music and it is best optimized for music or other media listening.
To deactivate the microphone, please check below:
Quit any applications using a microphone, for example video conferencing apps or game apps. If the headset is connected to a laptop, you can check which app has access to or is using the microphone as below. Quit the app accordingly.
For Window OS, go to ‘Microphone’ settings.
For Mac OS, go to ‘Privacy & Security’ settings > Click ‘Microphone’ on the right. Or go to ‘Control Center’ on the menu bar and look for a microphone icon.
Quit the Sound settings for Window OS and System Settings (or System Preferences) for Mac OS.
