Announcing Microsoft Teams Rooms Certified Releases for Logitech USB devices via Windows Update

Logitech has announced that Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini, in PC mode, deployed as a Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows solution, will now receive Microsoft Teams-certified CollabOS updates via Windows Update. These updates, validated and certified by Microsoft, will be automatically installed overnight as part of the daily reboot cycle, ensuring that the devices operate on the specific certified driver versions approved by Microsoft.

This new process marks a shift from previous practices where administrators had to use the optional driver to initiate updates for the devices. Now, certified CollabOS updates will be applied through a single Windows Update. This change emphasizes Microsoft’s commitment to stability and support, as only certified software will be eligible for support tickets.
