Logi Launch Jan 2025 Recap: Exciting New Innovations and Announcements
In today’s rapidly evolving work environment, technology is reshaping the way we work and operate, and Logitech for Business is at the forefront of this transformation with our simple, smart, and sustainable solutions. We are thrilled to unveil some exciting new product announcements and solutions at our January 2025 Logi Launch event. Here is a recap of those announcements, or you can watch the full event and live Q&A directly.
Enhancing the Workplace with Simple, Smart, Sustainable Solutions
Last year, we introduced our next-gen MeetUp 2 to uplevel meeting experience and simplify set up in small rooms. We are enhancing it with additional capabilities for BYOD (Bring-Your-Own-Device) deployments, soon supporting Zoom Digital Signage and Microsoft Teams shared display mode.
We are also continuing to enhance the experience in larger spaces with Logitech Sight, extending coverage further with being able to daisy-chain or connect two devices together with the front-of-room camera to ensure every participant is captured and heard, even at the back of the room. We’re expecting to make this feature available soon in Spring 2025 (Fall for those in the southern hemisphere). This builds on the TIME’s Best Invention device’s capabilities with Smart Switching, which changes camera feeds from the tabletop or front-of-room cameras to best frame and position where participants are facing.
We also recently announced Logitech Rally Cam Streamline Kit, which allows for better and easier presenter tracking in larger spaces, and the flexibility to connect Rally Camera up to 100m away using category cabling.
Also, we are continuing our commitment to sustainability by using more sustainable materials to build our products, and packing more capabilities for ongoing enhancements and longevity. Now, we are proud to have three out of every four Logitech products are made using post-consumer recycled plastic. Additionally, we will be upgrading our entire CollabOS lineup of products to Android 12 in mid-year 2025 to extend the life of these products for usability and supportability.
Making More Spaces Available with Logitech Spot
Space management is a critical aspect of workplace efficiency, and we've been on a journey to make spaces more available. We started in 2021 with Tap Scheduler, and then introduced occupancy in Sync to see trends and get insights on better space utilization. We most recently introduced Auto Book, Auto Release, and Logitech View to better indicate space availability and avoid “ghosted meetings."
We want to bring these automations and insights into more spaces, especially ones that have little or no technology in them, and that's why we’re excited to introduce Logitech Spot, a modern day sensing device that works in conjunction with Tap Scheduler to deliver better occupancy in a variety of spaces that have little or no technology in them.
The device is also packed with a variety of other sensors that measure environmental data to deliver room health and energy insights in more types of spaces, like video meeting rooms with a Logitech video bar, or even open areas. Learn more about how this device will enable smarter insights for workplace wellbeing and efficiency from the full event video, or check out our website for more details.
Ultimate All-in-One Video Experience with Rally Board 65
Video collaboration is now a key standard for hybrid workers, for more traditional, closed meeting rooms, but also for a variety of open and flex spaces. We wanted to make it as simple as possible to deploy and enable video conferencing in all types of spaces, and especially for those offices that may not have on-site support.
We’re incredibly excited to introduce to the world Rally Board 65, the ultimate way to video-enable all types of spaces, combining audio, video, and our latest intelligent features on a 65” touchscreen to make deployment and usage easier than ever before.
There’s tons more we packed into Rally Board 65 to tackle the unique challenges of video-enabling open spaces, and to make it flexible and adaptable for all types of environments and setups, so watch the full video or visit the website to learn more.
