General
Updates: Why update from the Rally Camera?
Rally AI Camera Pro’s PTZ camera has been completely re-engineered inside. Motors are more accurate and designed for optimal speed to improve viewability, consistency, and durability while dramatically cutting down the noise.
In addition to greatly improved optical capabilities, Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro both feature highly intelligent modes and features.
Cost & Availability: How much do Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro cost, and when are they available for purchase?
Logitech Rally AI Camera Pro is at an MSRP of $2,999 USD / €2,999, and Rally AI Camera is $2,499 USD / €2,499. They will be available in graphite and off-white starting Summer 2026 on Logitech.com and through authorized resellers.
Replacement: Does this replace previous products, such as Rally Bar, or is it an added peripheral? What about Rally Camera?
Rally AI Camera or Rally AI Camera Pro would be used as a peripheral to Rally Bar, not a replacement. To replace an existing Rally Camera being used as a peripheral, simply unplug the camera, swap out the USB connection, and add power using the included PoE injector to get Rally AI Camera or Rally AI Camera Pro up and running.
We suggest reaching out to a Logitech account representative to design an optimal experience customized to fit your needs.
Backwards Compatible Mounting and Installation: Can Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro be swapped into an existing Rally Plus setup using existing table/display hubs, wiring, and mounts?
Yes. You can easily replace Rally Camera with a Rally AI Camera or Rally AI Camera Pro in existing deployments. These products were designed with Rally Camera upgrades in mind. No Hub replacement is required. Depending on the previous package, a USB-C adapter may be required. Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro both include USB cable and a Category power cable required with minimal wiring alterations.
The Rally AI Camera Pro backplate includes mounting holes that match the original Rally Camera wall mount bracket pattern, making it very upgrade-friendly.
Design Options: What colors are available for the cameras and mounts?
Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro are both offered in Off-White and Graphite finishes.
The included wall-plate adapter for these cameras is graphite. For rooms where mounts may be visible, off-white options are available to enhance the aesthetic and draw less attention within the room.
The in-wall mounts are designed with customization partners in mind. Logitech will offer a neutral textile with an off-white box. In the future, other vendors may create 3rd party solutions allowing further customization and architectural integration.
Video
PTZ: How does the PTZ experience differ between Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro?
Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro both use a high-resolution 20MP 1-inch sensor to perform “Digital PTZ,” where the AI crops into the 4K image to frame subjects without the camera moving. Only Rally AI Camera Pro uses a dual-camera system: the digital sensor for wide-area context and a secondary mechanical PTZ lens with 15x hybrid zoom for high-fidelity close-ups. For more detailed specs, visit the product pages on our website for Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro.
Preset Button Compatibility: Will the new physical "Preset Buttons" work with existing Rally cameras, or only the new line? What about Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet?
Yes. Rally AI Camera Pro leverages optional Streamline Buttons for users who prefer hands-on control. Streamline Kit Buttons are directly paired to the camera and can therefore be used with a variety of platforms. As of the last release, you can pair buttons to the Rally Camera without the Streamline Kit too. For the latest information on certifications and compatibility, visit logitech.com/support/vc-certifications.
Picture-in-Picture: Does Rally AI Camera Pro support Picture in Picture(PIP)?
Yes. The option to have Room View as a PIP will be available in relevant modes just like in other CollabOS devices.
Audio
Audio Components: Are the on-camera microphones intended for conferencing audio, or strictly for tracking/aiming data?
On-camera microphones are intended for Speaker tracking as part of the RightSight 2 Speaker View.
3rd Party Integration: Are key features still supported if I’m tying into 3rd party systems like an audio DSP?
Rally AI Camera Pro integrates with the audio system of your choice. Pair it with the Logitech Rally system, or opt for one of our pro audio partners—like Biamp, Q-SYS, or Shure. Features like Speaker View and Presenter View will still function, though specific experiences may vary by platform. For the latest information on certifications and compatibility, visit logitech.com/support/vc-certifications.
Power Options: How is the camera powered?
Both Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro are PoE-powered. Rally AI Camera requires PoE+, while Rally AI Camera Pro requires PoE++. A dedicated PoE+ or PoE++ injector is included in the box for both models.
Management, Data, Privacy, Security, and Compliance
Management: Is management and firmware deployment supported via Logitech Sync over both USB and the IP Network?
Yes. Management, firmware updates, and rebooting are supported via Logitech Sync over both USB (when paired with Sync App) and IP-based (Ethernet/Wi-Fi) connectivity allowing devices to be securely managed—whether they are connected to a host device or not.
AI, Insights, and Privacy: How is Occupancy and People Count processed? Can this data be persistently collected while maintaining privacy outside of the room?
All AI processing is performed on-device (at the edge) ensuring that any Computer Vision Insights stay protected. An "Always-On Occupancy" setting can be enabled to keep the lens open for data insights even when idle if desired.
Additionally, Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro support Camera Zones to exclude areas outside a room, such as those visible through glass walls. This keeps the focus on meeting participants and supports data compliance efforts. You can read more about that feature here.
Installation and Mounting
Inversion Mounting: Does the hardware/software support 180° image inversion for ceiling mounts?
Inverted (upside-down) mounting is being considered as a future feature. We will continuously update product features and functionality based on customer feedback.
Cabling: Can I extend the USB signals of the camera to place the unit farther away from my CollabOS device or PC?
The Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro both include a 2-meter high-quality USB cable for easy connectivity out of the box. When greater distances are needed, we will also offer the Rally AI Cameras Extension Kit.
With the Rally AI Cameras Extension Kit, a single category cable run of up to 100 meters (328 ft) between the extension units is supported. The long-distance cable connecting the two extension units is not in the box. We recommend using a shielded Cat6A cable.
Integration & Compatibility
Microsoft Teams Rooms Certification: When will Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro be certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms?
We expect both cameras to be Certified for Microsoft Teams at product availability, around Summer 2026. To receive notifications on availability and the latest features, subscribe to CollabOS or product updates on the Product Hub.
Zoom Rooms Certification: When will Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro be certified for Zoom Rooms?
We expect both Rally AI Cameras to be Certified for Zoom at product availability, around Summer 2026. To receive notifications on availability and the latest features, subscribe to CollabOS or product updates on the Product Hub.
Google Meet Rooms Certification: When will Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro be certified for Google Meet Rooms?

To receive notifications on availability and the latest features, subscribe to CollabOS or product updates on the Product Hub.
BYOD Easy-of-Use: How simple is the connection for “less technical” attendees using BYOD?
It’s as simple as connecting the USB cable to the computer (as easy as Rally Camera or any other USB camera).
Multi-Camera Connection: How does connecting multiple cameras work? How many can be connected at one time?
The cameras are connected directly to a Room PC or a CollabOS device (such as RoomMate or Rally Bar). While each camera will now have its own intelligent tracking features, multi-camera will leverage functionalities specific to the service provider. For example, both Microsoft Teams and Zoom multi-camera mode support up to four cameras when used with a Room PC. Additionally, for Zoom Rooms’ Intelligent Director-based deployment, it supports up to three cameras. For the latest information on certifications and compatibility with service provider features, visit logitech.com/support/vc-certifications.
Network Requirements: Does the camera require its own IP address on the corporate network, or does it communicate solely via the Extension Kit/USB?
The camera streams video over USB to the Room PC or CollabOS device, so it does not need its own IP address for basic video. For network-connected BYOD deployments, the camera also supports wired and wireless networking for management in Logitech Sync when it is not connected to a CollabOS device or a Room PC running the Sync App. In BYOD mode, it is managed as a standard network device, while video is still delivered over USB to the user device.
Logitech Sight Integration: How do Rally AI Camera / Rally AI Camera Pro and Logitech Sight work together? Does the system intelligently choose the "best" shot between front-of-room and center-of-table?
Compatibility with Sight is not supported. Logitech Sight is a video peripheral designed for on-table (inside-out) camera angles, where Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro are designed for a more discreet presence with perimeter or front-of-room (outside-in) camera angles.
