Planning the installation

Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports CAT cable lengths up to a maximum of 20m (65.6’).

CAT6 SFTP/SSTP is the supported cable type.

NOTE: while CAT cable is used to extend the length of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs, they do not convert these parts to network devices.  

IN NO CASE SHOULD THE MIC PODS OR CAT CABLE USED WITH THIS PRODUCT BE CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO A NETWORK PORT, COMPUTER, NETWORK SWITCH OR THE RJ45 PORT ON RALLY BAR, RALLY BAR MINI OR RALLY PLUS.  DOING SO MAY DAMAGE THE CONNECTED DEVICE AND IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

Setup

1. Attach the included cable to one of the connectors and fold the lock into place. 

   

2. Attach this cable to the mic pod port on Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or the Table Hub on Rally Plus.

3. Attach the appropriate length CAT cable to both connectors.

4. Attach the connector to the Mic Pod or Mic Pod Hub plug and fold the lock in place.

Supported configurations

Rally Bar

Rally Bar with Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports connecting up to two Rally Mic Pod Hubs and four Rally Mic Pods.  The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in any order, but the Mic Pod CAT Coupler must be connected to Rally Bar.

Rally Bar Mini

Rally Bar Mini with Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports connecting up to two Rally Mic Pod Hubs and three Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in any order, but the Mic Pod CAT Coupler must be connected to Rally Bar.

Rally and Rally Plus

With the basic configuration, Rally and Rally Plus with Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports connecting up to a total of seven Rally Mic Pod Hubs and/or Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in order, but the Mic Pod CAT Coupler must be connected to Rally Plus Table Hub.

Rally and Rally Plus also Support a CAT cable length of up to 3m (9.8’) between each of the Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs.  Again, in this configuration a combination of up to seven Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs is supported.
