What is haptic feedback?
Haptic feedback provides tactile vibrations when you use your device.
With the MX Master 4, you'll feel a vibration when you perform specific actions.
What is the Haptic Sense Panel?
The Haptic Sense Panel has two main functions:
Enables intuitive control using haptic feedback. For detailed instructions on how to customize haptic feedback, please see below.
Open the Actions Ring that lets you access your favorite shortcuts. For detailed instructions on how to set up the Actions Ring, please see here.
Note: Logi Options + is necessary to use the Actions Ring.
How to customize the haptic feedback intensity
Yes, to customize haptic feedback, go to the Haptic feedback menu on the device page, then navigate to Haptic intensity. You can choose between four available settings - Subtle, Low, Medium, and High, ranging from lowest intensity to highest.
How to choose where and when haptic feedback can be felt
You can choose where and when to feel haptic feedback on the haptic settings page. Simply toggle between on and off for all supported plugins or features that generate haptic feedback. For Smart Actions, if you want to remove haptic feedback, edit the smart action and remove the step that produces haptic feedback.
Does haptic feedback work in the apps I use?
Currently, there are some apps that support haptic feedback. You can see the installed apps that support haptic feedback in the Haptic feedback Settings page. You can also find more plugins that support Haptic feedback in the Logi Marketplace.
NOTE: Only specific events in the app will generate haptic feedback. We continue to add more plugins to the marketplace associated with most popular apps to support haptic feedback.
How can I install a haptic plugin in my favorite app?
On the haptic feedback Modify settings page, in the right panel under Enable haptic for app plugins, click Install & Uninstall Plugins.
You’ll also be able to install plugins associated with your installed apps during the MX Master 4 device onboarding tour.
Then, navigate to the Logi Marketplace to view plugins that support haptic feedback. Choose a plugin to download and follow the installation steps.

NOTE: Only some plugins support haptics — you’ll need to browse to the marketplace to confirm which plugins support haptic feedback.
When should I feel haptic feedback?
Haptic feedback is enabled by default on your MX Master 4. The following supported actions on your mouse will generate haptic feedback.
Actions Ring: You will feel haptic feedback when navigating between the action bubbles. You will also receive haptic feedback when you click on an action bubble which triggers the action.

Smart Actions: When you create a new smart action, you can configure receiving haptic feedback for specific steps of your Smart Actions. You will see a “New” tag alongside when adding a step to receive haptic feedback on your MX Master 4..
Gestures: You will feel haptic feedback when Haptic feedback actions are assigned to gestures.
Gestures with haptics are limited to the following:
Hold + Move Left
Hold + Move Right
Hold + Move Up
Hold + Move Down
Gesture Click does NOT support any haptic feedback.
Examples of actions include:

Screen capture
Switching desktops
Emoji
Navigating between apps (Windows)
App expose (Mac)
MIssion Control (Mac), Start Menu (Windows)
Switching Screens: This is disabled by default. When enabled, you will feel haptic feedback when you switch between displays.
Haptic supported plugins: You will be able to view all installed plugins that support haptic feedback in this panel. If you want to download any additional plugins, you can explore Logi Marketplace by clicking on ‘INSTALL & UNINSTALL PLUGINS’ link.
Battery Saving Mode: You will feel haptic feedback when the battery charge level is greater than 10%. When the battery level is 10% or lower, your mouse will automatically turn off haptic feedback to conserve battery.
Connectivity: You will feel haptic feedback when your mouse is searching for a host or when your mouse connects through Bluetooth to a computer for the first time.
Power On: You will feel haptic feedback when you power on your mouse.
What is Battery saving mode in the haptic feedback setting?
If you toggle on battery saving mode, haptic feedback turns off when your MX Master 4 reaches 10% battery level. Turning haptic feedback off reduces your battery consumption. If you still want to receive haptic feedback, turn off the battery saving toggle.
Would I be able to feel haptic feedback when my battery level is low?
Yes, you can toggle off Battery Saving Mode to continue receiving haptic feedback.
Note: We recommend recharging your battery when you receive a low battery notification. Once the battery levels are higher than 10%, you will continue to receive haptic feedback.
