CollabOS 1.15 (1.15.149)

Release date: August 26th, 2025

NEW FEATURES

  • Introducing Dual Sight Support (Beta)!

    • You can now connect up to two Sight devices to expand video and audio coverage across larger meeting rooms, ensuring more participants are clearly seen and heard.

    • Learn more about recommended device placement and the user experience of this feature here.

      • Note: For PC-based systems, Sync App support for Dual Sight will be coming in a future update.

    • We’ve changed the camera mode that activates the Dual Sight experience. Now, whether you have one or two Sights connected, you must use Speaker View (formerly Grid View).  Zoom Room Appliances should use Intelligent Director for a multi-stream Dual Sight experience.

  • Introducing People Recognition Support for Teams Rooms on Windows!

    • Now supported on Microsoft Teams Rooms for Windows, People Recognition automatically names and frames in-room participants individually—bringing greater clarity and personalization to remote meetings. Combined with industry-leading support for up to five simultaneous video streams, Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini uniquely deliver a premium, AI-powered Teams meeting room experience.

    • This feature, currently in Beta, must be enabled using the Sync app, learn more. Additional information about Microsoft Multi-Stream IntelliFrame and Intelligent Camera is available here.

  • Introducing CollabOS and Sync Cloud APIs!

    • CollabOS APIs and Sync Cloud APIs make it easy for IT teams to integrate Logitech devices into enterprise workflows, monitor devices, access insights, and build smarter workplaces at scale.

      • CollabOS APIs allow admins to access CollabOS devices over their local network, regardless of service plan.

      • Sync APIs, available to Sync Plus, Essential, and Select subscribers, give admins access to device information from Sync cloud.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • RightSound 2

    • We’ve improved our microphone processing to make voices sound more natural and clear. Speech remains consistent, even in the presence of background noise, while unwanted sounds, such as in-room echo, are reduced.

  • RightSight 2

  • Local Network Access (LNA)

    • The LNA username can now be changed when using either LNA or Sync.

    • You can now use a password-protected private key when replacing the default self-signed LNA web server certificate. Learn more about Local Network Access certificate management here.

BUG FIXES

  • CollabOS

    • Fixed an issue where the device may rarely fail to boot up properly, requiring a power cycle to restart.

    • Fixed an issue where a device configured with the Camera setting “Room Occupancy” set to “Off” would unexpectedly set it to “Always on” while a meeting was in progress.

    • Fixed an issue where a device may unexpectedly disconnect from Sync Portal.

    • Fixed an issue where devices provisioned to Sync would occasionally experience unexpected configuration changes, such as time format modifications.

    • Fixed an issue where Sight devices weren’t recognized in CollabOS or Sync after a reboot was initiated from the Sync portal.

  • Google Meet on ChromeOS rooms

    • Fixed an issue where the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) window could flicker intermittently during Google Meet video calls when using devices running CollabOS 1.14 with ChromeOS-based room computers.
