CollabOS 1.12.129
Release date: April 25, 2024
NEW FEATURES
Introducing RightSound 2!
Our next-gen audio processing platform is here. We've greatly improved the way CollabOS devices maintain voice clarity while minimizing the impact of various acoustic disturbances like reverb, echo, and noise from HVAC systems or keyboards. Remote attendees will be able to hear in-room participants with even greater clarity at greater distances.
Introducing Sync Remote UI Access!
We’ve added Logitech Sync as a new option to interact with network connected CollabOS devices remotely. Using your browser, you can interact with any CollabOS devices just as if you were in the room.
Sync Remote UI Access works exclusively over your corporate network, video and audio content never leave your local network.
Sync Remote UI Access is included as part of your Logitech Select service package. 30-day instant trial available for device setup and feature evaluation.

Introducing Sub-Tiling for Grid View!
We’re bringing the Sight-like people-framing experience to Rally Bars. Sub-Tiling further optimizes the space between meeting participants using smaller subframes.
This feature is initially available for appliance-based configurations and can be enabled via device settings.

Introducing Camera Zone!
Camera Zone allows you to specify an area for the camera to actively detect and frame meeting participants, reducing distractions and ensuring that only the relevant activity within the specified area is captured. Learn more here.
Introducing Logitech Scribe support!
Use Logitech Scribe as a whiteboard/content camera with Teams Rooms on Android or Zoom Rooms Appliance. To set up and use Scribe, click here.
Introducing Speaker Highlight in Grid View
Grid View uses AI to intelligently create up to 4 frames of in-room meeting participants. Speaker Highlight the frame that contains the active speaker, making it even more intuitive to follow the conversation.
Note: In multi-stream environments, the native service stream highlight feature is utilized. In scenarios where multiple frames are composited into a single stream, the highlight is still applied to the relevant frame.

IMPROVEMENTS
Local Network Access
CollabOS 1.12 introduces a change to the default state of Local Network Access (LNA). For new installations with CollabOS 1.12 or greater, LNA will be disabled by default. Instructions on how to activate LNA can be found here.
For added security, if a device’s default LNA password has not been changed within 48 hours of activating the LNA feature, the system will automatically disable LNA.
Existing devices that upgrade to CollabOS 1.12 and have LNA enabled with the default password, will have LNA disabled after 48 hours.
Sync Remote Management
You now have the option to set the system clock in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.
This feature is available for network-connected CollabOS devices. Service providers that also support a clock format setting will override Sync’s specific setting.
Speaker Highlight (Beta) is now available for USB-based configurations.
Sync app 3.3.176 or higher is required.
You can now configure the default Local Network Access username at scale for network-connected CollabOS devices.
