IMPROVEMENTS

  • Local Network Access

    • CollabOS 1.12 introduces a change to the default state of Local Network Access (LNA). For new installations with CollabOS 1.12 or greater, LNA will be disabled by default. Instructions on how to activate LNA can be found here.

    • For added security, if a device’s default LNA password has not been changed within 48 hours of activating the LNA feature, the system will automatically disable LNA.

    • Existing devices that upgrade to CollabOS 1.12 and have LNA enabled with the default password, will have LNA disabled after 48 hours.

  • Sync Remote Management

    • You now have the option to set the system clock in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

      • This feature is available for network-connected CollabOS devices. Service providers that also support a clock format setting will override Sync’s specific setting.

    • You can now configure the default Local Network Access username at scale for network-connected CollabOS devices.
