RoomMate Certifications and Compatibility

This document provides information on the functionality and certification status of RoomMate. 

Note: For more information on the list of certified hardware recommended by the service provider, please visit Team Rooms Certified Hardware or Zoom Room Certified Hardware webpage.

Note: Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android App (MTRoA) does not support switching between multiple audio devices within the app. Only connect one external audio device so that it is selected as the default audio device.

Logitech Certified Hardware

Logitech Certified Hardware have been tested with RoomMate and all supported conferencing applications to ensure complete functionality.

RoomMate is certified for Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android and will soon be compatible with Google Meet on Android.

Note: To get dual display support with Rally System and RoomMate, it is recommended that the Rally System be connected directly to RoomMate and the dual Displays be connected to the HDMI-1 & HDMI-2 ports of RoomMate. Dual display support for Rally System when used with RoomMate connected to the Table Hub, will not pass video on the table hub HDMI 2 input.

Certified for Zoom Rooms

Notes:

  • Logitech devices not listed below are considered Uncertified Hardware when used with RoomMate.

  • Only Logitech Certified Hardware cameras are used to verify various camera modes provided by each video service providers.

  • Simultaneous multi-camera support (CollabOS 1.14+) is unavailable when using a USB-connected Tap with RoomMate systems.

Logitech Cameras

  • Rally Camera: A single camera is supported. Multiple connected cameras, but only one used at a time, is supported. Multiple simultaneous camera supports is available (CollabOS 1.14+).

  • Rally & Rally Plus: A single camera is supported. Multiple connected cameras, but only one used at a time, is supported. Multiple simultaneous camera support is available (CollabOS 1.14+).

  • MeetUp: A single camera is supported. Multiple connected cameras, but only one used at a time, is supported. Multiple simultaneous cameras support is available (CollabOS 1.14+).

Touch Controllers

  • Tap: Yes

  • Tap IP: Yes

Whiteboard Camera

  • Scribe: Yes

AV Switch

  • Swytch: Yes

Certified for Teams Rooms on Android

Logitech Verified Audio Hardware

We partner with manufacturers of 3rd party devices that connect to Logitech appliances to ensure those devices function properly. These are designated as Verified Hardware.  However, other hardware connected to the Verified Hardware (such as microphones connected to DSPs) are not tested.

Other Hardware 

RoomMate has no “deny list” or managed restrictions with connecting 3rd party USB cameras. However, we do not certify or guarantee that any camera besides MeetUp, Rally Camera, Rally, and Rally Plus will function properly. Audio devices do need to be safe listed to avoid compatibility issues. Below is a list of currently safe listed audio devices:
