RoomMate Certification and Compatibility Information

Updated: 6/9/2025

This document provides information on the functionality and certification status of RoomMate.Β

Notes:Β

  • For more information on the list of certified hardware recommended by the service provider, please visit Team Rooms Certified Hardware or Zoom Room Certified Hardware webpage.

  • If you are using Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android App (MTRoA), RoomMate will not support multiple audio devices within the app. If you are using a camera/microphone/speaker device you will be unable to use a 3rd party mic/speaker device as the audio selection will default to the initially connected device.

The Roommate uses standard USB HID commands to send volume control and mute commands to USB audio devices. Logitech only verifies volume control and mute sync functionality on Certified Hardware and Verified Audio Hardware. If volume control or mute sync are not working on any other whitelisted audio devices, we recommend reaching out directly to the device OEM's support.
