RoomMate Certification and Compatibility Information

Updated: July 28th 2026

This document provides information on the functionality and certification status of RoomMate.Β

Notes:Β

  • For more information on the list of certified hardware recommended by the service provider, please visit Team Rooms Certified Hardware or Zoom Room Certified Hardware webpage.

  • If you are using Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android App (MTRoA), RoomMate will not support multiple audio devices within the app. If you are using a camera/microphone/speaker device you will be unable to use a 3rd party mic/speaker device as the audio selection will default to the initially connected device.

RoomMate uses standard USB HID commands to send volume control and mute commands to USB audio devices. Logitech only verifies volume control and mute sync functionality on Certified Hardware and Verified Audio Hardware. If volume control or mute sync are not working on any other whitelisted audio devices, we recommend reaching out directly to the device OEM's support.

Platform specific notes:

  • Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android

    • Logitech devices not listed above are considered Uncertified Hardware when used with RoomMate.

    • Teams Rooms on Android on RoomMate does not support multiple connected audio devices. It is recommended that a single Rally/Rally Plus, along with a standalone Rally Camera, be utilized as the second camera.

  • Zoom Rooms on Android

    • Logitech devices not listed above are considered Uncertified Hardware when used with RoomMate.

    • Only Logitech Certified Hardware cameras are used to verify various camera modes provided by each video service providers.

    • Simultaneous multi-camera support (CollabOS 1.14+) is unavailable when using a USB-connected Tap with RoomMate systems.

Additional Notes:Β

  • To get dual display support with Rally system and RoomMate, it is recommended to connect the Rally system directly to RoomMate and also connect the dual Displays to the HDMI-1 & HDMI-2 port of RoomMate. Dual display support for Rally system when used with RoomMate connected to the table hub will not pass video on the table hub HDMI 2 input.

Logitech Verified Audio Hardware

We partner with manufacturers of 3rd party audio devices that connect to Logitech appliances to ensure those devices function properly. These are designated as Verified Audio Hardware.Β  However, other hardware connected to the Verified Hardware (such as microphones connected to DSPs) are not tested.

Other HardwareΒ

RoomMate has no β€œdeny list” or managed restrictions with connecting 3rd party USB cameras. However, we do not certify or guarantee that any camera besides MeetUp, Rally Camera, Rally, and Rally Plus will function properly.

Logitech RoomMate requires USB video sources to provide MJPEG (compressed) video on the USB 2.0 connection. For RoomMate and Q-SYS Core cameras/video compatibility, please speak to your Q-SYS representative to verify compatibility.Β  As of this time, both the Core 8 Flex and Core Nano are supported USB video sources when connected to RoomMate via USB, while the Q-SYS Core 110f & 24f USB video source are not supported as they do not provide the necessary compressed video format.
