Sight Compatibility and Certification Information
In this article, you will find current video conferencing platform certification, compatibility and feature information for Logitech Sight.
Logitech Sight is meant to work with a front-of-room camera to add an additional, center-of-room perspective to follow conversations between speakers, capture contextual in-room activity, and auto-frame participants for the best experience.
For more details on how this experience comes to life in modes like Speaker View, Grid View, and Smart Switching, read below to get details based on video deployment and platform.
Speaker View
Speaker View uses audio and video AI to capture the in-room conversation, framing and focusing on active or recently active speakers. Logitech Sight improves Speaker View by including views from both the Sight and the front of room camera.
Default experience
By default, Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini output a single, composited stream with up to 4 active speakers as captured by Sight along with a Picture in Picture view, captured by Rally Bar, that shows a Group View of all those in the meeting room.
Grid View
Grid View captures and frames all participants within range, both active speakers and non-active participants.
Logitech Sight enhances Grid View with Sight by presenting active and non-active participants from both the tabletop and front-of-room view.
Grid View integrations with Sight will be available after initial product launch. Compatibility and user experience will vary depending on the video platform.
Smart Switching
Smart Switching uses AI to automatically switch cameras based on which way the talker is facing. As those in the room speak to each other, they are typically framed by Sight. When they face the front of the room to speak to someone on the far end, Rally Bar will typically frame them.
Note: Smart Switching is now available for Sight connected to a Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini running CollabOS 1.13 or higher. For more details see here.
Dual-Sight connection
“Daisy-chaining”, a future capability, will make it possible to connect two Sight cameras via a Cat6 to extend coverage to longer tables or larger rooms.
Camera Zone
Camera Zone capabilities will be coming to Sight with a future CollabOS update. To learn more about Camera Zone, please see here.
Google Meet (on ChromeOS & Android)
While Logitech Sight may work in some configurations, it's currently not a certified Google Meet device. We are actively working on certifying it for both Google Meet on Android and ChromeOS. While we continue to work on these integrations, you can take advantage of the following alternatives:
Google Meet on ChromeOS: You can leverage Logitech Sight using the Framing by Logitech feature on Logitech Tap. Additionally,, navigate to the Google Admin Console and ensure that Manufacturer framing is set as Default camera framing (Primary) for the room.
Google Meet on Android: You can useLogitech Sight per-meeting by selecting Speaker View on Logitech Sync, and selecting the Framing by Logitech camera option on Logitech Tap. RightSight 2 Group View is automatically enabled on a new call start or when Framing by Logitech mode is toggled off/on.

Unsupported Configurations
To differentiate between talkers in the conference room vs. those remote, Sight needs to connect to an AV system that can provide the audio path information. Currently that list includes Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini (support for Rally and Rally Plus in Zoom Rooms is coming shortly). Therefore, at this point the following devices/configurations are not supported with Sight:
Sight stand alone
Sight connected directly to a computer (without audio from one of the above listed products)
Sight with Rally Bar Huddle
Sight with MeetUp
Sight with BCC950
Sight with Group
Sight with Webcams
3rd party audio (this is being investigated as a future feature)
